There was a thread on dpreview more than a year ago with these. They were done by some mastermind graphic designer who could whip these images up in a matter of minutes. It would be nice to give credit to the actual artist if possible.
I did link to the flickr account, but I am not sure if this is the original designer. The images were available for share and “blog this” and this is how I was able to post them here. If somebody knows the original source, please let me know.

I remember those pics from along time ago. I’m still trying to find an airbrush artist to do a Hello Kitty version for me
yes they are old, but now they are “shareable” on flickr
My favorite is the D3 with the Kung fu grip
yay for designer Camera’s! next year we will see the Nikon D4 walk (itself) down the isle for New York Fashion Week!
& for the warranty, if something happens , what to tell :
Mine is with the “Pokemon” not the “Iron man” one !!!?
I think this might make sense with an entry level camera, or a coolpix. interesting idea though……
what a waste of a total lack of talent

Um, I wouldn’t call him a mastermind…it’s a fairly easy thing to do, for a graphic designer with the right tools that is

I’d take the tiger one for my African safari. And my mother wouuld probably want the LouisVuitton one.
what’s the point of the ratings system if you keep posting stuff like this? i don’t see post quality increasing at all.
I don’t see the results until the post is online, but I do take notice – all I can do now is push this entry down.
