Amazon sent out email notifications today that they are shipping the Nikon D800 to existing pre-orders. The first deliveries are expected on Monday. On their website, the D800 is listed as “usually ships within 1 to 3 months“.
The Nikon D4 camera is again open for pre-order on Amazon with a release date of March 20th, 2012. Amazon stopped taking pre-orders just few hours after the D4 announcement. Amazon UK is now taking pre-orders for the Nikon D800. Delivery date is listed as March 26th, 2012. According to Yodobashi camera (Japan) the Nikon D800 will start shipping on March 22nd, the D800E on April 12, 2012:
