Interesting: currently available Nikon Nikkor Z-mount lenses vs. F-mount lenses

Here are some interesting and useless stats – a list of currently available Nikon Nikkor Z-mount lenses vs. F-mount lenses:

Adorama:

Nikkor Z-mount lenses: 42
Nikkor F-mount lenses: 40 (only 33 in stock)

B&H Photo:

Nikon USA:

Nikkor Z-mount lenses: 44
Nikkor F-mount lenses: 71 (not sure what is going on here – I guess they still list all discontinued F-mount lenses)

Nikon UK:

Nikkor Z-mount lenses: 43
Nikkor F-mount lenses: 39

Nikon Japan:

Nikkor Z-mount lenses: 43
Nikkor F-mount lenses: 36

The teleconverters could have caused some of the above discrepancies – some sites count them as lenses, and others don’t.

Nikon is rumored to introduce huge instant rebates for high-end Nikon F-mount lenses (as much as $4,800 off)

I am not sure about the details yet, but Nikon is rumored to introduce huge instant rebates for high-end Nikon F-mount lenses. The new savings should include the existing PC lens, 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm, 800mm lenses, and a few other models. The rebates are rumored to be as high as $4,800 for the most expensive lenses.

FYI: The latest Nikon Z rebates have now expired.
