This video footage is made up of excerpts taken from a Japanese war-time film. The film has a patriotic agenda and is titled ‘Ichiban Utsukushiku’ (The Most Beautiful). Directed & written by Akira Kurosawa (regarded as one of the most important and influential filmmakers in the history of cinema), the footage shows what an early Nippon Kogaku (NIKKO/Nikkor/Nikon) optics factory and the working conditions looked like in the 1940s.

Nikon released their financial results for the Imaging Products Business for the first quarter of the year ending March 31, 2017:
B&H is selling an open box Nikon D5 DSLR camera for $6,100 (XQD model with full warranty and free shipping, regular price: $6,496.95).
Grey market Nikon D500 cameras are now selling for $1,799 on eBay (regular price: $1,996,95).

Nikon filed another patent in Japan for a Nikkor PC-E 19mm f/4 tilt shift lens. Nikon has already filed at least two similar lens patents in the past. I have reliable information that this lens will be officially announced at Photokina or latest by the end of the year.
