This is pretty much the end of F-mount. You are not going to see many F-mount products available for sale after 2024, especially in Europe, where all electronics will be required to have USB-C charging ports by the end of 2024:
I am not sure about the details yet, but Nikon is rumored to introduce huge instant rebates for high-end Nikon F-mount lenses. The new savings should include the existing PC lens, 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm, 800mm lenses, and a few other models. The rebates are rumored to be as high as $4,800 for the most expensive lenses.
