Nikon is rumored to announce an entirely new line of Nikkor cinema lenses. I do not have any details on the focal lengths. This could only be a development announcement, like the 28-135mm. I have seen some related patents in the past and will try to find them. This is a logical and expected development, reported several times in the past:

• Last year I reported that Nikon will start making cinema lenses for Z-mount with T stops.
• Keiji Oishi (RED’s new CEO) on a new line of  Nikkor cinema lenses: “In the future, we would like to take these different approaches into consideration for an additional cinema lens lineup if we have a chance”.
• From a recent interview with Nikon/RED: “Nikon is actively considering developing Nikkor cinema lenses”.
• Amateur Photographer: “Nikon is looking at introducing CINE lenses”
