The Nikon D6 has been delayed due to issues with the buffer design (this is the rumor I heard).
Nikon’s goal was to create a camera with more MP and buffer that can provide the same performance as the Nikon D500.
The Nikon D6 announcement is still expected this year with shipping to start at the end of 2019 or in the first quarter of 2020 – just on time for the 2020 Summer Olympics that will begin in Tokyo on July 24, 2020.

After the new Samyang 14mm f/2.8 UMC and Samyang 85mm f/1.4 UMC lenses for Nikon Z-mount, now also the new Samyang 85mm f/1.4 autofocus lens for Nikon F-mount is available for pre-order (price: $699).

Adobe Lightroom Classic CC has a bug that prevents it from importing or previewing Nikon D850 NEF files shot while the camera is in Live Movie Mode set to DX (NEF files in 16:9 ratio). Adobe has just acknowledged they have duplicated the issue. Capture One Pro and Luminar open these files just fine. Apparently not a new issue with Lightroom and happened with the Nikon D800.

The Italian company Isotta announced new underwater housing for the Nikon Z6/Z7 mirrorless cameras. The housing is made out of anodized aluminum and is priced at $2,790.
