Nikon dominated the 2025 Bild Expo with the largest and busiest booth of the entire show (see the floor plan here) – this is not just my opinion, but the feedback I got from readers and friends who attended the show:

Peak Design launched three new lines of PRO tripods on Kickstarter, including lite + tall versions. The project has already raised almost $2.3 million during the first 2 days with an initial goal of $100,000, with almost 2,800 backers (57 days to go).

A quick reminder that on June 23, 2025, Nikon will increase the prices on all F and Z mount lenses made in China. All other accessories like flashes, filters, cases, lens hoods, battery grips, memory cards, etc. will also get a price increase (see where Nikon products are manufactured).

The new Nikon Z8 firmware update version 3.0 is now expected to be released on or around July 1st. As I mentioned in my previous post, the initially reported time frame for this week was too soon.
