Nikon Z9 and new lenses available for pre-order *UPDATED*

The Nikkor Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S lens is also listed at B&H but pre-orders are not open yet.
Given the current global part shortage and shipping issues, I expect the Nikon z9 to be out of stock for a long time. Make sure you place a pre-order early even if you are still not sure if you need one – you can always cancel the pre-order later.

Nikon released new NX MobileAir smartphone app and NX Tether computer software
In addition to the Z9 camera, 100-400mm, 24-120mm lenses, and FTZ II adapter, today Nikon also announced a new NX MobileAir smartphone app for uploading images taken with Nikon cameras (coming November 24) and NX Tether computer software for tethered shooting and remote camera control/adjustment (coming November 4).

Today Nikon officially announced the development of the NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S mirrorless lens for Z-mount (as already previously reported). Nikon did not provide many details – this is all we have for now (the lens is not yet available for purchase):
