Motocross riders

Motocross riders by Michael Fullana (Website | Instagram):

Intro:
After 30 years of commercial photography, a move to Central Florida, a son’s first dirt bike, and a passion for an extreme sport, were the factors that got me into Motocross Photography. After taking photos of my son on a motocross track for his first ride, I was immediately hooked. The grace, bike control, and finesse that the riders exhibit flying through the tracks is mesmerizing. To me, it feels like watching a symphonic performance where the roar of the motor represents the crescendos and you feel the highs and lows of the performance deep in your soul.

Coming today: Capture One webinar with Joe McNally

You have probably already noticed that Capture One recently introduced a new Nikon dedicated version (all C1 related blog posts can be found here). I also reported that our favorite Joe McNally is now also a Capture One ambassador.

Today, Thursday (June 4) at 11 am EST / 5 pm CET, Capture One is going to have an online event/webinar where Nikon users can learn about the new Nikon version from Joe McNally (register here).

And another clarification (see this post) since some readers are still having problems downloading the free Capture One Express for Nikon: you have to first deactivate the license that is linked with the demo software or any other previous version and re-enter the license that was given to you on the free download page. The 4 different Capture One versions are determined by the license number, so make sure you are using the correct one:

Getting closer to a Nikon announcement: two new entry-level Z mirrorless cameras expected (Z30 and Z5)

I am slowly starting to narrow down the next Nikon announcement – here is a quick update to my last “what to expect post“: in 2020 Nikon is rumored to announce two new entry-level Z mirrorless cameras:

  • The entry-level full-frame camera should be called Nikon Z5 and it will be positioned under the Z6
  • The entry-level APS-C model should be called Nikon Z30 and will be positioned under the current Z50
  • The third rumored Nikon Z8/Z9 pro mirrorless camera is expected in late 2020 or in early 2021 (after the Z30 and Z5 announcement)
