Just when I was wondering why the US was spared from the recent price increases, I heard a rumor that Nikon will be also raising their prices in the US on August 1st. I do not have the details yet, but it seems that the price increase will impact mainly Nikkor Z lenses. The previously rumored Laowa 12-24mm f/5.6 full-frame zoom lens for Nikon Z-mount by Venus Optics is now officially announced. The Nikon version is priced at $649. Pre-orders are now open at the official online store (Laowa lenses are also sold at Adorama and B&H).

The previously reported new Viltrox NF-Z autofocus lens adapter (Nikkor F-mount lens to Nikon Z-mount camera) is now officially announced and available for pre-order at the official Viltrox online store (they ship internationally) and B&H Photo.
