Nikon temporarily suspended orders for the Nikkor Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S lens because of an “unexpectedly large number of orders”. I am confused here because Nikon already did suspend orders for that lens back in July:

Here is the updated Nikon Z lens roadmap as of September 20th (click for a larger view) – it seems that we have new lenses:

  • Nikkor Z 70-180mm (f/2.8?)
  • Nikkor Z 35mm S Line (f/1.2?)
  • Nikkor Z 135mm S Line (f/1.8?)
  • The Nikkor Z 12-28mm DX lens is now PZ

Here is the list of expected lenses from the July version of the Nikon Z roadmap:

  • Nikkor Z 24mm (DX)
  • Nikkor Z 26mm pancake
  • Nikkor Z 12-28mm (DX)
  • Nikkor Z 85mm S-line (probably f/1.2)
  • Nikkor Z 200-600mm  (f/6.3?)
  • Nikkor Z 600mm S-line (probably f/4)

Nikon Z cameras rumored roadmap
When I posted the above Nikon “roadmap” online a week ago, I made it very clear that the roadmap is coming from China and I cannot vet or confirm its authenticity. Today we still have websites racing to be the first to report the “leaked Nikon Z roadmap“.
