Jaquet announced a new “Niko” cage for Nikon ZR cameras. Here are the key specifications:
- Integrated 15 mm rod clamp (new design)
- Rigid CNC-milled aluminum cage
- Kippertie Revolva LC (Z-EF/Z-PL) ready
- Screen can fully articulate
- 3/8″ + 1/4″ UNC threads on the bottom, aligned with the optical axis
- Detachable Arca-Swiss plate
- Symmetrical half-cage design
- Does not protrude beyond the lens mount
- Does not obstruct any camera buttons
- Multiple 3/8″-16 and 1/4″-20 UNC threads
- Detachable and rigid micro-HDMI and USB-C cable clamp with M2 locking screws (optional)
- Camera mounted using a 1/4″-20 UNC screw and secured with a stud bolt (Nikon tripod locating hole)
- 1/4″-20 UNC threads for SmallRig HDMI adapters
