A quick update to my previous post – there are more Nikon events scheduled in the next few months:
- A major event at the end of April or early May – people are already under NDA for that event.
- Nikon Philippines is teasing a new event for March 25th
- Nikon Japan announced that the Nikon Plaza Tokyo showroom will be temporarily closed because of an event that will take place on March 28, 2023 (Tuesday) from 16:00-18:30.
Now, you have to understand that Nikon will milk everything out of the new Nikon Z8 camera announcement or whatever else they are planning to release. Expect first a development announcement, an official release, then a notice of shortage because of the large number of pre-orders, and finally shipping. I just don’t see anyone getting a Z8 before the summer or maybe even later.
I was told that in terms of new Nikon products, 2023 will be a very good year. Stay tuned for more details.
