A smaller and cheaper entry-level Nikon Z30 mirrorless camera is still expected

The upcoming Nikon Zfc announcement doesn’t kill the rumors for a new smaller and cheaper Nikon Z30 mirrorless camera. Since the new Zfc will have pretty much the same specifications and price as the Z50 (around $1,000 with a kit lens), there is still a place and need for a real entry-level mirrorless model placed under the Zfc/Z50, especially since the D3500 is already discontinued.

Based on past announcements history, Nikon always releases higher-end products first and then goes down to cheaper alternatives. I think they will do the same with the Z30 – it will be announced after the Zfc is widely available and sales start slowing down
