A night before Typhoon Hato in Hong Kong with Nikon D850.

→ Nikon D850 event in the Netherlands report by Femke Puijman (www.kynofocus.nl):

I have a small photo report on the Nikon mystery guest event last night (August 24th) in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Only NPS members and press were invited to the event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nikon, to present the new D850 DSLR camera and Nikon invited Little Shao as a guest speaker. He told us about how he became a photographer and how he got in touch with Nikon after starting out with a Canon camera. He showed us some of his best work and then told us about his experience with the amazing Nikon D850.

At the end, the D850 was revealed and we could ask some questions and even touch it!

I also put an SD card in one of them to take some shots, but unfortunately, the camera didn’t register my shots on my SD card. I had one of the pre-production models and it wouldn’t work with my card. Otherwise, i would have had some killer D850 shots…

We all received a very pretty goodie bag with a D850 polo shirt, a pen, the D850 promo folder and a bracelet that will get me a free limited edition leather neck strap on the 100th anniversary event on september 22nd in Amsterdam.
