I wonder if Sigma will fix the D500 outside-point focusing issues on the 18-35.

This firmware update has to be a joke! Do they really believe that these Cams are still alive, let alone in use?

You mean for the coolpix 7900? That is ridiculous. I bet not even one owner will even download it.

You know, I was about to comment about how impressive it is that Nikon is still doing this for a 10 year old P&S. Why would that be a bad thing? Planned obsolescence sucks.

I actually bought one of those, back in the day, for the owner of a small commodity-broker client of my IT consulting biz to use to help document the product he was selling. Very nice little camera for its day, for non-photographers.

if only the p900 wasn’t intentionally crippled by its lack of raw support

I know this isn’t a classified ad space, but for any fellow NR people interested in this camera we have one listed on eBay. After an article on fstoppers about old gear we were inspired to move on and sell any equipment we dont use regularly. We bought the P900 for personal project that we never had time for, so it’s probably got <100 shutter clicks, essentially new. Just search eBay for buy it now, its the one sold by Sara. Make an offer and mention NR; we would prefer to sell to a fellow group member where it will actually get some use 🙂

Just upgraded Pocketwizard firmware to v 3.818 beta, and now my Sekonic L-758DR will not trigger my SB800 Speedlights. Anyone else?
