Few days ago I reported that the new Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6E lens is already shipping in Asia. The first review of the lens is already available online at digineff.cz (Google translation) and includes full resolution sample photos. According to B&H and Amazon, the Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E lens will start shipping in the US on September 17th.
Nikon has filed a new patent application for a 28mm f/1.8 VR lens (the current 28mm f/1.8 model doesn’t have VR) Nikon also has a patent application for a new 1 Nikkor 7.5mm f/2.8 lens (designed for 1″ sensor).
