New Nikon Camera Control open source project

I noticed this post on the NikonRumors Forum – a reader is developing an open source Nikon Camera Control software. Please note that this project is at its early stage and could have bugs or not be compatible with all Nikon DSLR cameras. The current features are:

Underwater housings for Nikon D800 and D4 cameras in the making

The first underwater housing prototypes for Nikon D800 and D4 cameras are already out and they look slick. I was told that the Hugyfot housing for D800 will cost “only” €2,850 including VAT (around $3,700). Hugyfot showed also those 3D rendering for the D4 housing at the London Dive Show:

Nikon D800E to be released on April 12th in limited quantities

Nikon Japan issued a statement that the D800E pre-orders/reservations have greatly exceeded the amount of produced cameras and they apologize for the inconvenience/delay.
