Nikon announced new FSB-UC bracket for attaching Coolpix cameras to fieldscopes

Nikon announced a new FSB-UC bracket that will allow you to attach Coolpix cameras to Nikon fieldscopes and it will cost $249.95. Nikon already has an adapter for attaching DSLRs. Similar to the previous FSB-8 model, the new bracket will work also with the Fabre Photo EX portable stereoscopic microscope.

Nikon D3200 to be announced on April 19th?

The first unconfirmed reports about a Nikon press conference on April 19th, 2012 started to come in. The expected announcement is for the Nikon D3200 and maybe even the already leaked Nikkor AF-S 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED DX VR lens.

Nikon D800 now in stock on Amazon Germany

I am surprised, but I guess they did not have many pre-orders: the Nikon D800 is currently in stock on Amazon.de. Update: today Adorama and B&H started shipping Nikon D800 cameras to non-NPS pre-orders in the US.

If you live in Norway, you better pre-order the Nikon D800 before the upcoming price increase on April 1st

As previously suspected the Nikon D800 price in Norway will be going up according to this banner posted on the Norwegian online store fotovideo.no. Nikon D800 pre-orders placed before April 1st will be eligible for the current price. The D4 was not mentioned, but I believe its price will go up as well.
