    Thanks Nikon Rumors!

    Saved me on this one.

Loving the D810, quieter, handles better, seems to be much better with low light.

That’s not what I want to hear Robert. Trying one out today I think.

Adobe sucks. Their stuff is bloated DRM’d crud.

    • mikeswitz

Yeah, I’m sure they’re f**king up your art no end.

        +1!

I’d feel better about Adobe if they would stopping send those drones to peer in my windows. And if you cancel your CC subscription they will slowly reduce your image file resolutions until you are left with nothing but thumbnails. And people with CC subscriptions should be sure to wear carefully grounded aluminum caps so Adobe can’t steal their intellectual property.

Except, of course, in North Korea, Adobe defers to Dear Leader.

Granted, I’m not a big fan of “Creative Cloud”–I’ll use my CS6 till the bitter end.

      • CC rots

Amen! CCloud is a forced mortgage with no house in the end! Adobe loudly said – screw you individual customers and amateurs

        • Rhys

Lightroom is great. but I agree with CC. Hate it.

    • groucher

You forgot to mention that its over-priced, antiquated and nowhere near as good as NX2.

  • Matt

Awesome! I’m so glad I don’t have to wait until I can edit photos from my new D810!

    What about Lightroom?

    • IndyReader

      Import the DNG files!

it will get there, ACR is always the first component that gets updated – simply because it’s the smallest one.

All the other software that is built over ACR will get updated eventually.

  • KT

so when will the DXOmark score come out?

  • Paul

how long typically from the release candidate to the official version? one month?

New updates from Adobe dated July 31 2014. Didn’t test them yet, but hope the Lightroom 5.6 updated is now supporting the D810 NEF files as well. http://www.adobe.com/uk/downloads/updates.html
