The latest Nikon rebates

The Nikkor lens-only rebates are now gone. The currently available Nikon rebates can be found at Adorama and B&H (the Nikon D500, D750 and D810 now come with a free third party battery grip: Watson EN-EL15).

Nikon should introduce new lens-only rebates at the end of this week. I will post the details once I get them.

For our Canadian readers:

  • Nikon Canada is now offering free battery grips with the purchase of D810 and D750 cameras (D500 is not included)

The new Irix 11mm f/4 full frame lens for Nikon DSLR cameras will start shipping this week

B&H and Adorama will start shipping the new Irix 11mm f/4 full frame lens for Nikon DSLR cameras later this week. The lens is already in stock in several EU retailers (Amazon UK, Amazon DE, Amazon FRAmazon IT).

Just a reminder that all Irix lenses are available in Firefly and Blackstone versions:

Just like the Irix 15mm, the new lens is offerred in two finish versions. Firefly, as a standard version is made of lightweight composite, provided with an anti-slip rubber coating and clearly printed markings. The premium version, the Blackstone, features a durable aluminum/magnesium alloy body that ensures rugged durability. Blackstone’s engraved fluorescent markings reflect UV light to enable easy operation in low-light conditions.

Additional coverage of the Irix 11mm f/4 lens can be found here.

Here is a picture of the new Irix filters that will also be launched in a few days (more info here):
