Nikon first quarter financial results: revenue up, operating profit declined slightly, forecast up


Nikon released their first quarter financial results for the 2025 fiscal year (April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025):

  • In the Imaging Products Business, both unit sales and sales amount remained solid in the digital camera market as a whole due to strong sales of mid- to highend products.
  • Regarding the business environment for the year ending March 31, 2025, in the Imaging Products Business, the digital camera market is projected to remain solid, and we expect market growth, especially for mid- to high-end products.
