I received a tip that a new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200mm f/2E FL ED VR lens was already tested last year. I don’t know if Nikon is still planning to release a new version of the lens since the current model is already discontinued.

Nikon just released firmware update version 1.11 for the Nikon D850 DSLR camera with a single fix:
- Fixed an issue that disabled firmware updates for certain lenses and accessories.
