Nikon released firmware update version 1.01 for the Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lens with a single fix: “Reduced the amount of vibration generated by the lens during autofocus.”

The Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lens is currently $200 off.

The new Meyer-Optik Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 II lens is available also for Nikon F-mount

The first new Meyer-Optik Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 II lens will be available also for Nikon F-mount. The new version has a revised Triplet optical design and is already available for order B&H Photo.

Meyer Optik Görlitz was supposed to announce six new lenses at the 2020 Photokina show (now canceled). Last year the brand relaunched under new ownership admitting that previously sold products were converted Russian and/or Chinese lenses. Additional information can be found here.

One of my favorite places on Earth is the Grand Tetons.  My time with that area spans from a trip I missed after graduating High School and always regretted to today where I conduct annual photography tour/workshops and share my experiences with others.   This blog is a compilation of photos from my 2019 event.   It was an excellent trip and there was an absolutely great group of photographers attending. We had attendees from California, Texas, Washington and as far away as Germany. We all experienced a special time in the Tetons.
