The first new Meyer-Optik Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 II lens will be available also for Nikon F-mount. The new version has a revised Triplet optical design and is already available for order B&H Photo.
Meyer Optik Görlitz was supposed to announce six new lenses at the 2020 Photokina show (now canceled). Last year the brand relaunched under new ownership admitting that previously sold products were converted Russian and/or Chinese lenses. Additional information can be found here.

One of my favorite places on Earth is the Grand Tetons. My time with that area spans from a trip I missed after graduating High School and always regretted to today where I conduct annual photography tour/workshops and share my experiences with others. This blog is a compilation of photos from my 2019 event. It was an excellent trip and there was an absolutely great group of photographers attending. We had attendees from California, Texas, Washington and as far away as Germany. We all experienced a special time in the Tetons.

An interesting development coming from Japan – apparently, as part of the Japanese stimulus legislation in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the Japanese government is offering financial incentives to Japanese companies to move factories out of China, and back to Japan or other countries.
