The previously rumored Laowa Argus 28mm f/1.2 FF full-frame lens for Nikon Z-mount from Venus Optics is now officially announced. The price is $599.

Nikon Z8 rumors from China confirm what we think we know about the Z8

Some Nikon Z8 rumors from China sent by a reader:

“I am just a Nikon user who wakes up every day to check NikonRumors website about the Nikon z8. I have been waiting for the new Nikon z8 and I am excited to find out on Bilibili that a photographer working with Nikon claims that what we expect will be satisfied as the screenshots says. In the comments below, due to confidentiality, he suggests that we can search some rumors he said before because they are out of control from Nikon officials, so I searched the rumor he said. In the other screenshot he said for sure that Z8 is the mini Z9, so I assume the z8 is 45MP and it is not a camera specialized for video only.”

Oh, the Internet, where everyone is an expert… multiple websites, forums, and social media accounts are reporting about the upcoming Nikon Z6 III camera… If the Nikon Z6 III camera is coming soon, I have not heard about it. This does not mean that such a camera does not exist on Nikon’s roadmap, I am just saying that I have not heard anything reliable about this model… and I have been wrong before.
