Reminder: there is no new Nikon Z90 APS-C camera coming next month

It is time for another reminder: there is still no reliable information about a new Nikon Z90 APS-C camera (or Z80, or whatever the latest flavor of the day is), and there will definitely be no Z90 announcement next month. Everything you see online is pure wishful thinking combined with clickbait titles by sources that have never correctly reported a single Nikon announcement in the past. Nikon Z90 camera rumors have been circulating for years, and I have yet to see anything to indicate that such a camera is on Nikon’s roadmap.

Nikon NX Studio version 1.10.1 released (+ new Nikon Webcam Utility for Mac version 1.2.0)

Nikon released NX Studio version 1.10.1 with two changes:

Added support for macOS Tahoe version 26 (NX Studio version 1.10.0 or later)
Fixed some minor issues

Back in June, Nikon also released a new Webcam Utility for Mac version 1.2.0, which I missed reporting. The new version is compatible with Apple Silicon, which was released earlier this year. You no longer need to use terminal commands to bypass the MacBook’s camera security. The new version works with Safari and Chrome browsers:

Skype has been removed from the list of tested web conferencing apps in accordance with service discontinuation
Added support for macOS Sequoia version 15
