What to expect next from Nikon?
After the latest Nikon Z50II camera and Nikkor Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ lens announcements, here is an updated list of what to expect next from Nikon:
- Nikon Coolpix P1000 replacement (P1100?)
- Nikon Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.2 S-line lens
- There is already talk about a potential Nikon Z9 replacement (Nikon Z9II?) in 2025, but it is still way too early to report on any reliable rumors
- No word yet on Nikon Z5 or Z7II replacements

There is no more a space in the Nikon Z camera model nomenclature
During the press briefing of the new Z50II camera, Nikon confirmed that they had removed the space from all of the Z camera models:
