The Nikon 1 V3 camera is now officially announced on nikon.com and Nikon USA websites. The price is $1,196.95 for a kit with the new 1 Nikkor 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 VR PD lens.

“The Nikon V3 will be the first mirrorless camera to feature 120fps HD slow-mo at 1280 x 720 resolution. Also available are 400fps and 1200fps at lower resolutions. Nikon have added an electronic stabilisation mode (called EVR) and 1080/60p to round out the spec.”

In few hours (around midnight EST/early morning GMT) Nikon will announce their new “fast everything” V3 mirrorless camera (see specs) and two new lenses (1 Nikkor VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 and 1 Nikkor VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM). The new V3 will probably be marketed as the fastest camera available on the market today. There will not be a new LED light as previously reported, instead Nikon will announce a new 62mm spring-loaded lens cap.
