This is the specifications comparison between the new Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G Special Edition lens and the regular 50mm f/1.8G version – both lenses seems to be identical except the 5g difference in weight (probably because of the silver ring):

Today Tamron officially announced the development of the already rumored SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD lens which will replace the current 200-500mm f/5-6.3 model. The first Nikon AF-S Nikkor 58mm f/1.4G lens was shipped to the Foto Hans Keuzekamp store in the Netherlands. US shipping is expected to start tomorrow (October 31).
