Few more new bits of information on the upcoming Nikon 1 J4 mirrorless camera: it will feature LCD touch screen and flash sync speed of 1/60s. A new lightweight (550 g/20 oz) all-plastic 18-300mm lens (with f/6.3 at 300mm) will also be announced. Correction: the new 18-300mm will be a DX lens.
The Nikon 1 AW1 is finally in stock at B&H (the camera has not been in stock for months). Update: B&H is now sold out. Adorama and Amazon still have some in stock.
DxOMark published their test results for the recently released Nikon 1 V3 mirrorless camera. Their conclusion:
After the V3, Nikon will also announce a new J4 mirrorless camera. I do not have any other details at that point. Stay tuned for additional information.
