
Nikon Corporation has decided to raise the base salary of its employees by 10,000 yen, around $62 (approximately 2.5% of the average base salary), starting in July of this year. Including salary increases based on individual performance, the total base salary increase per person is expected to be approximately 18,000 yen, around $112 (approximately 4.5% of the average base salary). Furthermore, in conjunction with this base salary increase, the starting salary for new graduates joining the company from April 2027 onwards will be raised by 10,000 yen.
This will be the fourth consecutive year of implementation.

Nikon is making strategic investments in human capital to realize its vision for 2030: “A leading company in a society where people and machines co-create.” This includes strengthening the acquisition, development, and success of personnel responsible for executing management strategies. In light of the continuing rise in prices, and with the aim of creating a secure working environment for employees and securing talented personnel, Nikon has decided on the following wage revisions. This marks the fourth consecutive year of base wage increases.
Nikon will continue to actively invest in human capital to enhance corporate value.
