New firmware updates for the Z5 and D780 cameras released (plus a new update for Message Center 2)


Today Nikon released new firmware updates for the Z5 and D780 cameras and a new update for the Mac version of Message Center 2:

Nikon Z5 firmware update version 1.43

  • Changed the default values for the following settings displayed when connecting wirelessly:
    • Encryption keys
    • The password displayed after the camera’s default settings are restored

Nikon D780 firmware update version 1.11

  • Changed the default values for the following settings displayed when connecting wirelessly:
    • Encryption keys
    • The password displayed after the camera’s default settings are restored

Nikon Message Center 2 (Mac) Version 2.5.1

  • Added support for macOS Sonoma version 14
  • Ended support for macOS Big Sur version 11
