Sometimes I like to use old DSLRs with various great lenses. A short while ago an excellent Carl Zeiss Makro-Planar 2/50 ZF.2 T * (with Nikon F mount and CPU contacts) got into my hands. It is an excellent macro-lens with very nice color rendering and astonishing sharpness. I used it with Nikon D40. It is one of the weakest cameras among all Nikon DSLRs. The result you can see in the gallery below:
