Nikon released firmware update version 1.01 for the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S lens

Today Nikon released firmware update version 1.01 for the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S lens with a single fix:

“Aperture control has been made more reliable by setting aperture to a medium diameter (around f/8) when the camera is turned off, rather than close to the minimum diameter.”

The Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S lens is currently selling for $997 at Adorama, B&H and Amazon.
