Third party battery grips for the Nikon D7500 DSLR camera

While the free battery grip offer from Nikon is expiring this week, you probably already have noticed that the Nikon D7500 DSLR camera doesn’t have an original external battery grip available as an additional accessory. For all D7500 owners, I am happy to report that Vello now makes the BG-N18 battery grip for Nikon D7500. Here are the details:

  • For Nikon D7500 DSLR
  • Holds EN-EL15a Battery
  • Extended Grip for Vertical Composition
  • Non-Slip Rubberized Grip
  • Vertical Shutter Release Button
  • Camera’s Battery Door Stores inside Grip
  • Includes 2.5mm Shutter Release Cable
  • 1/4″-20 Tripod Mounting Socket
  • Price: $49

“The Vello BG-N18 Battery Grip for Nikon D7500 is specifically designed for this camera, and the grip accepts one ENEL-15a, which can be changed quickly when the battery drains of power, in the included battery tray. Once the battery grip is installed, it provides an alternate, vertical shutter release button, so it does not leave you holding the camera in an awkward shooting position. The included 2.5mm shutter release cable plugs into the grip’s port and into the camera’s remote release port, so you retain complete functionality of the vertical shutter button.

To attach the grip, remove the battery door from the camera, and store it safely inside the grip, so it is not left loose in your pocket or camera bag. The camera maintains its ability for mounting onto a tripod with the 1/4″-20 mounting socket on the bottom of the grip.”

Amazon also offers several different battery grip options for the Nikon D7500 DSLR camera:
