Are we never going to see a new version of Camera Control Pro 2? Version .24???

    • Ric of The LBC

      Still want Capture NX3!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Markus

Yes please! I’am still using NX2 for my D800E files and will Keep using it until it won’t be possible anymore (with a new camera) or until there will be a Capture NX3 (most probably never). I like CNX2 because I am able to save my Edits directly in the NEF (no stupid sidecar files) and because of the excellent Color Rendering.

      • jimh

Nikon’s abandonment of CNX2 was actually one reason I switched to Sony – I was that angry about it. Reading about minor fixes and upgrades to NXDumb just makes me angry all over again. There is still nothing that matches CNX2.

  • Spy Black

Nikon needs to integrate Camera Control Pro into NX-D and be done with that.

    • C_QQ_C

      agree

  • Fly Moon

Preferences > Open With Application now offers the following Conversion Format options for images opened using the selected application: JPEG, TIFF (8 Bit), and TIFF (16 Bit).

    I like that

    • C_QQ_C

Now also add NEF for Capture NX2 and more ppl will be happy…

Software innovation at the speed of Nikon. Woooo

  • Admin, I would not even post this type of “news”, it makes everyone sad to hear about that topic 😉

  • Captain Megaton

“Added a Size of Text and Icon option to Preferences > View.”

God, at last! CNX-D has been painful on a 4K monitor, truly painful, since they blocked dynamic menu resizing.

  • jb

why does transfer now only see 1 folder up to 999 frames?

  • Max

I wonder what ‘improved Bluetooth connectivity’ entails.

    • Andreas Vesper

Yes, exactly. With the new Version it’s neither more stable nor faster. And as long as Nikon uses Bluetooth LE, it won’t be faster, as Snapbridge exactly works as specified, extremely slow and power burning as Bluetooth LE is not designed for data Transfers. Simple as that. Some experts, core Project team members from the Bluetooth LE project know that way better than I here: https://www.bluetooth.org/DocMan/handlers/DownloadDoc.ashx?doc_id=227336

still unable to install CNXD in Wine under Linux. FAIL!
