I got another tip for April 16th as a potential release date, but this is Thursday which is unusual day for an announcement.

    so both articles are suggesting a low-end body, like a D40 replacement.
    What about the D400 ?

    Danish site zoom-online.dk reports that danish Nikon will have a press conference on April 14th to present new products that will “make the danish people to better photographers”.

    Seen some websites rfer to it as D4.1 : either a D4 OR April 1st i.e. April fools

      Sounds a bit dubious.
      Especially since the spokeperson at Nikon’s “top secret institute” has “April” as a first name.
