We now have two different design patents that clearly show the differences between both models – basically, the high-end model (shown above) has more buttons on the top and on the back plus a larger grip:
Nikon has mentioned on several occasions that they are planning to release a new entry-level Nikon Z mirrorless camera to compete with the Canon RP.
