Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR lens delayed till October

Nikon Japan announced that the shipment of the new Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR lens will be delayed till October, 2015. The lens was initially scheduled to start shipping on August 27th. The Nikon 24mm f/1.8G ED and 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR lenses for now are scheduled to start shipping on September 17th.
