Adobe August 2019 Lightroom Classic and ACR released with support for four Nikon F-mount lenses (Nikkor, Zeiss, Tamron)


Adobe released the August 2019 version of Lightroom Classic and ACR with support for several lenses for Nikon F-mount:

The latest version also includes several improvements including GPU Accelerated Editing – here are the full details:

New Nikon camera will be tested in Dubai/UAE


I got some information that a new Nikon camera will soon be tested in Dubai/UAE. It is also possible that somebody is working on the promo material (photo/video) or maybe even for a new teaser/trailer for a new Nikon camera. If this is true, it means that we are still a few months away from any new camera announcements.

Keep an eye on social media for any photographers associated with Nikon that may start posting pictures from this part of the world and let me know.

Nikon released firmware update v.1.1 for the Coolpix A1000 compact camera.


→ This Nikon Reflex-Nikkor.C 2000mm f/11 lens (ca. 1975) will be listed at the next Wetzlar Camera Auctions on October 5th, 2019 with an estimated price of 15,000 – 20,000 euro (see more): “Second version of this very rare 2000mm Nikkor lens with C-coating, built-in L37c filters, 18m close focusing distance. The first version was presented to the public at Photokina 1970 for the first time and was followed by the second version in 1975.

Irix Cine lenses for Nikon Z mount are coming


Irix is rumored to announce Cine versions of their existing 11mm f/4 and 15mm f/2.4 lenses that will be available also for Nikon Z mount.

Irix recently introduced their first 150mm T3.0 cinema version of the Irix 150mm f/2.8 lens that is already available for Canon EF,  Sony E, MFT and Arri PL mounts. The Irix 11mm f/4 and Irix 15mm f/2.4 lenses are currently available only for DSLR mounts.
