Atomos ProRes RAW updates from the IBC 2019 show: “we’re not the only feature they (Nikon) are upgrading, they have some new autofocus on those cameras”


Some Atomos ProRes RAW updates from the IBC 2019 show:

  • Adobe has officially announced that ProRes RAW will be supported natively in Premiere Pro.
  • Atomos dropped the price of the Shinobi 5.2″ 4K HDMI monitor by $100 to $299 (Adorama | B&H).
  • Atomos CEO Jeromy Young “leaked” that new AF changes are coming to Nikon Z cameras – in this video interview Atomos CEO confirmed how the upcoming firmware update from Nikon will include AF changes as well – watch at the 1:03 mark where he says “We’re not the only feature they’re upgrading, they have some new autofocus on those cameras” – he also mentioned it’s not a paid upgrade, you will just have to pay the cost for sending your camera in:

Angelbird announced new CFexpress memory cards


A few days ago Angelbird announced their first CFexpress memory cards that offer read speeds of up to 1700MB/sec and write speeds of up to 1400MB/sec:
