Finally: Nikon Z6 III announcement in two weeks (on or around June 11)


The Nikon Z6 III camera is rumored to be officially announcement in two weeks. I do not have an exact date yet, but we are talking about the June 10-12 timeframe.

You can see all previously reported Z6 III specifications here (the first set was reported in December last year). I will try to do another recap in the next few days, as I am receiving more updates. Stay tuned!

Firmware update version 1.01 released for the Nikon NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR lens


Today Nikon released firmware update version 1.01 for the NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR lens with a single change:

  • Fixed an issue that focus may be inaccurate at a focus distance of infinity with a focal length around 400mm to 600mm in a low temperature environment.
