Today Nikon started shipping the new NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f /2.8 VR S and NIKKOR Z MC 50mm f /2.8 mirrorless macro lenses. Most of the shipping notifications I got are for NPS members in the US and Canada but the lenses are shipping also in Europe:

Just a reminder that the demand for the NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f /2.8 VR S lens was huge and many stores received a record number of per-orders. All this combined with the current chip shortage suggests that the 105mm lens will be out of stock for a very long time.

The upcoming Nikon Zfc announcement doesn’t kill the rumors for a new smaller and cheaper Nikon Z30 mirrorless camera. Since the new Zfc will have pretty much the same specifications and price as the Z50 (around $1,000 with a kit lens), there is still a place and need for a real entry-level mirrorless model placed under the Zfc/Z50, especially since the D3500 is already discontinued.
