Nikon is rumored to release a new Z9 firmware update version 2.1 in the next 7-14 days. The new update will have several significant updates, including but not limited to AF fixes and improvements.
A new Nikon APS-C mirrorless camera is also rumored to be announced at the end of June, or at the beginning of July. I think there will be multiple announcements on the same day (a new Nikkor Z 400mm f/4.5 mirrorless lens is also expected).
