Leaked online: new Yongnuo 85mm lens for Nikon Z-mount

I already reported that Yongnuo will soon announce a new 50mm f/1.8 Z DF DSM full-frame mirrorless autofocus lens for Nikon Z-mount. I also believe the already leaked Yongnuo 20mm f/1.8 lens will also be available for Z-mount (both lenses pictured above).

There is now a third leaked Yongnuo 85mm lens for Nikon Z-mount (I assume it will be f/1.8):



In the US Yongnuo lenses are sold at Adorama, B&H, and Amazon.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S mirrorless lens for Z-mount is coming soon

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S mirrorless lens for Z-mount is rumored to be announced at the end of January and shipping is expected to start in late February/early March. Please note that this timeframe can be further delayed or changed.

Some details on the new Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S mirrorless lens for Z-mount:

  • The new 400mm Z lens has a new coating and AF motor technology, way ahead of the competition (not my words, this is what I was told).
  • The lens has a built-in 1.4x teleconverter – this will bring the focal range to 560mm.
