The Nikon D3300 camera started shipping today and is currently in stock in Europe at Foto Hans Keuzekamp. In the US the stock status should be changed any moment (listed as “temporarily out of stock“ on Amazon). The new Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G lens should also be shipping today according to Nikon Japan (currently in stock at Amazon and B&H). The updated 18-55mm VRII kit lens is also now in stock.

There is a very good chance that the new Nikon Coolpix cameras will be introduced before the press conference scheduled on February 11th. The official announcement could happen as early as tonight. It is common for Nikon to separate their Coolpix (P530, AW120, P340 or P350) and professional announcements (I assume D4s). This is what we can expect:

After initially being recalled, Nikon is now shipping the new/fixed Df cases and straps:
Update: the lens only rebates are now live.
Good news: the Nikon US “lens only” rebates are coming back! I do not have the details, but the savings should be similar to last year’s rebates (no need to purchase a Nikon DSLR body in order to qualify. The program is not yet available online. Check back on NikonRumors this weekend for more details.

According to the invitation pictured above, Nikon have scheduled a press conference for February 11th, 2014 (next Tuesday). The CP+ show in Japan starts on February 13 and Nikon is expected to announce several new products.
