Today Adobe released their latest DNG Converter 11 with added support for the Nikon Coolpix P1000 and Nikon Z7 cameras: Windows version Mac version You can now convert your NEF files into the DNG format and use them in Lightroom until the full LR support is released:
The Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera is now in stock for the first time at Amazon US (ships from and sold by Amazon.com). Previous P1000 coverage can be found here. Update: the P1000 is now also in stock at Focus Camera. The Nikon D850 is “expected” to be in stock on September 25th at Amazon and October 5th at B&H.
The Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera started shipping yesterday and is already back ordered for months in some places: Adorama: “Expecting delivery from Manufacturer. “ B&H: yesterday it said “Expected availability: Sep 10, 2018”, today it says “coming soon” Amazon: “Usually ships within 1 to 2 months.” Some Nikon P1000 hands-on videos:
