Just a quick update: the new/rumored/upcoming Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Mark II lens will be around $500 more expensive than the current model (maybe even $600 more in the US because of tariffs). The current version currently sells for $2,096 in the US after a $300 rebate:
